What a monthly figure needs before it is published
A monthly payment on a Marlboro or Monroe listing is shown only as approximate, for a qualified buyer, with the rate, down payment, term, source and date.
No monthly payment is printed on a listing page today. A figure is published only as approximate, and only for a qualified buyer, with the down payment, the rate, the term, the source and the date. Your lender’s figures will differ.
Rates Thursday, when it runs, will carry that same rule. A rate from a named source can be quoted with the day it was published. A rate without that citation stays off the site.
The home-value form asks for the address and the timing. It does not produce a payment in the browser.
This note is the site version of the Rates Thursday series.
